ILERA-EKO seniors social health insurance plan is a customized social health insurance protection plan under the Lagos State mandatory health scheme. The plan is designed as a bespoke benefit package suitable for the elderly and 60 plus.
The plan will guarantee affordable and quality of health services for the elderly through third-party financing and management system that enables a pooling of resources and medical expertise. This system of ensuring delivery and receipt of qualitative healthcare is provided by the Lagos State Health Management Agency.
For a pre-paid premium, subscribers to ILERA-EKO seniors social health insurance plan are assured of access to affordable and quality healthcare services when required amongst the list of Ilera-Eko accredited hospitals. The plan provides access to over 200 [still counting] private and public hospitals in all local government of the state along with accredited diagnostic laboratories for annual screening and test.
