The Lagos State Health Management Agency (LASHMA) has partnered with PharmAccess Foundation to launch 'MOMCARE' as part of efforts to reduce maternal death in the state. Speaking at the launch ceremony held at the Providence, Ikeja, the Board Chairman of LASHMA, Dr Adetokunbo Alakija, stated with 'MOMCARE'  maternal death during pregnancy and delivery would be reduced to the barest minimum in Lagos.  Dr Alakija Called on other international agencies, donors and organisations to support LASHMA on the treatment of HIV-AIDS and tuberculosis, among others.
